What you'll need

  • A Prezzee account
  • The Prezzee App on your iPhone or Android phone

You can see your card in the Wallet on the Prezzee website, but you can only pay with it through the Prezzee App.

Pay in-store

  1. Open the Prezzee App and go to Wallet.
  2. Find your card and tap View.
  3. Set up your card for tap-to-pay:
    • iPhone: tap Add to Apple Wallet and follow the steps.
    • Android: tap Set up Tap to Pay and follow the steps. Make sure NFC is turned on.
  4. At the checkout, hold your phone near the payment terminal:
    • iPhone: open Apple Wallet and select your card.
    • Android: open the Prezzee App and tap Tap to Pay.

If the terminal asks for a PIN, you'll find it on your card in the Prezzee App.

Pay online

  1. Open the Prezzee App, go to Wallet and select your card.
  2. Reveal your card details: the card number, expiry date, and CVV.

If the retailer accepts Apple Pay, you can also pay online with Apple Pay on your iPhone.

Card declined?

Here's what to check:

  1. Your balance. Make sure you have enough on your card to cover the purchase. You can check it in the Prezzee App.
  2. The merchant type. Your card only works at the merchant types listed above.
  3. The terminal. Some retailers, including individual stores and pumps, don't accept UnionPay prepaid cards. At a service station, try paying inside at the counter, or ask the staff which terminals accept your card.
  4. How you paid online. Make sure you entered your details as a credit or debit card, not as a gift card or voucher.
