The Prezzee Mastercard Digital Gift Card is a prepaid digital Mastercard for Prezzee Business customers. Send any value from $5 to $3,000 for a $4.95 fee per card, and recipients can spend it online and in-store anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
What is the Prezzee Mastercard Digital Gift Card?
It's a single-use prepaid Mastercard that lives on the recipient's phone, so there's no plastic card. The card is issued by Vault Payment Solutions Group Pty Ltd (ABN 66 632 373 105) and is issued in Australian dollars for recipients in Australia.
This is a different product from the Digital Mastercard® eGift Card that Prezzee sold previously.
For Prezzee Business customers
Who can buy the card?
The card is available to eligible Prezzee Business customers in Australia.
How do I buy and send it?
- Log in to the Prezzee Business Portal.
- Select the Prezzee Mastercard Digital Gift Card.
- Choose the card value.
- Enter the recipient's details. You can send one card or place a bulk order.
- Choose to send it now or schedule a delivery date.
- Complete payment.
The recipient gets their card by email or SMS, with instructions to claim it.
What values are available?
Any value from $5 to $3,000 per card.
What does it cost?
A $4.95 issuance fee (including GST) applies to each card, including cards in bulk orders. The fee is shown at checkout before you pay. There are no fees for the recipient.

Can I cancel an order?
Yes. A $2.50 cancellation fee applies to each card cancelled. See the Prezzee Business Terms of Sale for details.
Can I see whether a card has been claimed?
You can track delivery and resend any card from Track and Resend in the Prezzee Business Portal. Whether a card has been claimed or spent isn't shown in the portal.
The recipient can't find their gift email or SMS. What should I do?
You can resend the card from Track and Resend in the Prezzee Business Portal. If you need a hand, Prezzee Customer Care can resend it too. Check that the recipient's email address or mobile number is correct first.
For recipients
How do I claim and set up my card?
- Open the link in your gift email or SMS, then register using the 4-digit PIN it contains.
- In the Prezzee app, go to My Wallet, tap Reveal Card Details, then select Get Your Card and Redeem Now.
- Enter your first name, last name, email address, and mobile number, then tap Submit.
- Add the card to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet.
Your card is ready to use straight away. There's nothing else to activate.
Which mobile wallets can I use?
- Apple Wallet
- Google Wallet*
- Samsung Wallet* (add the card to Google Wallet first)
*Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet need an NFC-enabled device for contactless payments.
How do I pay with my card?
- In-store: tap your phone at the payment terminal, just like a regular card.
- Online or over the phone: open the Prezzee app to view your 16-digit card number, expiry date, and 3-digit CVV, then enter them at checkout.
You can use it anywhere a prepaid Mastercard is accepted, with a few exceptions (below).
Are there any purchases the card doesn't cover?
The card works almost anywhere a prepaid Mastercard is accepted. It doesn't cover:
- ATM or cash-out withdrawals
- Money transfers, foreign currency, money orders or cryptocurrency
- Share trading, betting or gambling
- Direct debits, subscriptions, recurring payments or instalment plans
- Purchases above your available balance
Each card holds a single balance to spend, so it can't be topped up or moved to another card. You can check what's left anytime in your Prezzee Wallet.
Can I use it overseas or on international websites?
Yes. Purchases in a currency other than Australian dollars are converted at the Mastercard exchange rate, and a 2.99% foreign exchange conversion fee is added to the transaction.
Can I split a payment with another card?
Many retailers let you pay part with your card and the rest another way. If your purchase is more than your balance, check with the retailer before you pay.
Are there any fees?
There are no fees for using the card, apart from the 2.99% foreign exchange fee on non-AUD purchases. Some retailers add their own surcharge for card payments, which comes off your balance.
How do I check my balance and transactions?
- Balance: check it in your Prezzee Wallet, or at vaultactivation.com.au/balance using your Unique Card ID.
- Transactions: view them in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Your Unique Card ID (also called the EAID) is a 9-character code made up of letters and numbers. To find it, open the Prezzee app, go to My Wallet, and tap Get Your Card.
When does the card expire?
The card is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. You can see your expiry date in the Prezzee app. We won't send a reminder, so plan to spend your balance before then. Any balance left after the card expires can't be used.
Why was my card declined?
The most common reason is that the purchase is more than the available balance. Check your balance and try a smaller amount, or ask the retailer about splitting the payment. A card can also be declined if it has expired or is used for one of the purchase types listed under "Are there any purchases the card doesn't cover?".
What if I need to return something I bought with the card?
The retailer's refund policy applies. If they refund to your card, the amount goes back onto your balance, so spend it before the card expires. For a problem with a purchase, contact the retailer.
